Eduica Terms of Service

Eduica is a technology marketplace platform connecting Students and Parents/Guardians with verified independent Tutor Partners for in-person home-visit private lessons and online academic mentorship.

Eduica is not a formal educational institution or direct employment agency, but an intermediary technology provider facilitating tutor discovery, scheduling, 100% escrow-backed secure payments, real-time trip GPS tracking, and quality assurance.

• Users must supply truthful, accurate, and verifiable identity details during registration (legal name, active mobile number, email, and exact tutoring location address).
• Student accounts for minors under 18 years of age must be created, supervised, and operated by a legal parent or guardian.
• Users are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of login credentials and OTP codes. Any action initiated from your account is deemed authorized by you.

• Sessions can be booked as individual scheduled sessions, multi-session bundles, or on-demand requests based on tutor availability.
• Upon booking confirmation, the Tutor must tap 'Head to Location'. Students/parents can follow the tutor's route in real-time via GPS on the in-app map.
• Upon arriving at the student's home, the Tutor must complete GPS-radius check-in and take an arrival selfie as official attendance proof before teaching commences.
• Lesson duration is tracked automatically by the official Eduica Tutor timer.

• Student Cancellation: Full 100% refund to the user's Eduica Wallet applies when cancelling before the tutor accepts or at least 2 hours before the scheduled session start time.
• Late cancellations made while the tutor is already en route may incur a localized travel compensation fee for the tutor.
• Tutor Cancellation / No-Show: If a tutor cancels or fails to arrive (no-show), student funds are refunded 100% immediately without deduction, and Eduica will assist in pairing with an alternative top-tier tutor.

• For home-visit lessons, parents or guardians must ensure an adult family member is present at home throughout the duration of the lesson.
• Sessions must be held in an open family living space (such as a living room, family study area, or study table) and never behind closed doors without supervision.
• Eduica enforces a Zero Tolerance Policy against physical aggression, verbal harassment, bullying, or misconduct. An Emergency Assistance button is accessible in the app.

• Tutors are independent contractors (not Eduica employees) who determine their subject specialties, hourly rates, and travel radius.
• Every Tutor must pass comprehensive verification: national identity (e-KTP & selfie KYC), accredited university degree/transcripts, teaching certifications, and background clearance.
• Tutors must uphold professional teaching ethics, arrive punctually, and maintain appropriate demeanor.

• Teaching earnings are credited to the Tutor Wallet upon student completion confirmation (or automatically after 48 hours without disputes).
• Tutors may withdraw accumulated funds to registered Indonesian bank accounts at any time with zero standard platform payout fees.
• Eduica reserves the right to hold funds if an active dispute is filed until the resolution team concludes investigation.

• All logos, trademarks, software, AI practice question banks, and design assets are the exclusive property of PT Eduica Digital Indonesia.
• These Terms are governed by and construed under the laws of the Republic of Indonesia.
• Any dispute shall first be settled amicably through the Eduica Mediation Center (halo@eduica.id). If unresolved, disputes shall be submitted to the Indonesian National Board of Arbitration (BANI) or the South Jakarta District Court.
